Russia attacks Ukraine after its warship sinks, threatening the US

Russian troops pounded a Ukrainian rocket factory after the sinking of its flagship Moskva in the Black Sea.
AFP reporters reported that the Vizar factory, near the Kiev international airport, was badly damaged in the attack.
Russia said it had used a long-range sea-based missile to hit the plant. According to the Ukrainian arms manufacturer, the factory produces the Neptune cruise missile, the projectile that Kiev and Washington say was used to sink the warship Moskva.

A military hardware factory in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine was attacked by Russia on Saturday (16/4) early morning local time. The attack came after Russian troops pounded a missile unit outside Kiev.
According to AFP news agency, Saturday (4/16/2022), smoke billowed in the area and there were many police and military arrivals after the Mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko announced on social media that there had been an explosion in the Darnyrsky district of Kiev.
Russia's Defense Ministry said Russian troops had used "high-precision long-range" weapons to pound facilities at the weapons factory in Kiev.

At least 153 Palestinians were injured when Israeli riot police stormed Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Friday (15/4), where they were greeted with stones.
